On account of Teachers day ,Mrs.N.K.Chithra,Mrs.Maheswari Venkatesh,Mrs.Alamelu Participated in Article writing competition on the topic – "Today students – The Disturbing Issues around them & Our Challenges" which was conducted by st.John's Public School. An Educational Symposium was conducted by them on 3/9/2016 at Image Auditorium, R.A.Puram & Mrs.Supraja, Mrs.Durga Attended the Sumposium and Mrs.N.K .Chithra received Consolation Prize for her article on stage.
17 students won the prizes in the Karate tornament which was conducted on 27/ 8/2016 & they received the Shield, Medal & certificate from our Principal Madam and our chief guest Mr.Shihan Vasanthan [Gooshun Ryu Karate Federation – Malaysia]

70 students from VII to IX std joined in Akash National Talent Hunt Examination – 2016 which is conducted by Akash Eductional Service Pvt.Ltd . Exam Date: 23/10/2016. 55. 100 Students from X-std registered their name for State Level National Talent Search Examination which is conducted by Directorate of Government examination – Tamilnadu. Examination date : 16/11/2016
Mudhalvan Virudhu was given to the Students who secured 10 CGPA in X-std Board Examination in 2015 – 2016 by CSC computer Education on 30/8/2016. Special Prize was given to G.Dinesh, XI D & G.Abirami, XII B for their X std Performance & they received free Diploma Course in Computer For Rs.16,000 from Mr.Ramachandran [CSC – Director]
32 students participated in 15th All India Open Karate Tournament which was conducted by Okinawa Koshiki Goju Ryu Do Shirenkan - India & World Karate Federation at JJ Indoor Stadium, Kilpuak on 27/8/2016.
KG CCA Competition – COLOUR THE PICTURE GIVEN was conducted on 26.08.16.
Chess tournament was conducted by Thiruvallur District at Sarojini Varadhappan Girls Hr. Sec School, Poonamalle on 26 / 8/2016.

."Madras Day" celebration was conducted by PSBB Senior Secondary School,KK Nagar on 16/8/16,17/8/16 & 22/7/16. Our Students from VI to X std participated in Music Competition, Oratorical in Tamil & English, On spot painting, Folk dance of Tamilnadu & Quiz on Chennai.
Our school Hosted the Inter School - Shuttle Cork Tournament at SKR Engineering college for the students of XI std. Bharath Kalyan – XIC Won the runner Place on 11/8/2016.
Sethu Baskara Matric . Higher Secondary School Conducted Boys Volley Ball tournament for the Students of XI std on 11/8/2016 [ Thursday ] .
On account of "Arrow Times Carnival" , Arrow Publication Pvt Ltd conducted "National Level Quiz competitions through online to the students as well as teachers in the month of August- 2016.
Yoga - Foundation course was given by "The World community Service Centre" ,Agaramel in our school campus for 18 hours to IX,X,XI & XII std students. 2 hours classes was taken on 9 continues Saturday at 2.30 p.m to 4.30.p.m. At the end of the course Certificate was provided to the students who joined and paid Rs. 150 for registration .
Thirunirai Selvi & Mukesh of IX – D attended the Black Belt Examination on 7/8/2016 & they received the black belt which was conducted by self defence school of Indian Karate & organized by Okinawa Koshhiki Goju RQU karate Do Shirenkan – India
Under – 16 boys Chess tournament was conducted to the students of XI std on 6/8/16 & 7/8/16 at Thiruvallur District. Prajesh of XI – A won the IX place by scoring 8.3 points.
The National Safety Science Quiz conducted the Quiz through online to our Students of IX & X std in the month of August -2016 . Usernames & passwords were given to the students after registration of the participants. 21 students participated in this Quiz.
17 Students qualified for final level – My Clean India Inter school Drawing competition which was conducted by Justice Mohan University of Urban Development, Government of India. Final level competition conducted on 7/8/2016 [Sunday] on the topic – "Swachh Bharath" at Chettinad Vidhyashram, Rajah Annamalaipuram, Chennai. Tamilselvi Gandhi of IX - C won the II prize.
Mrs.Maheswari Venkatesh received Star coordinator award from SpellBee International for 2015 – 16 on 7/8/2016 at Chinmaya Heritage Center ,Chetpet.
Kailash Muthu Nagarajan of II std, Keerthana.S of II std won the commendation certificate from International Level SpellBee competition and they received it on Stage at Chinmaya Heritage Center ,Chetpet on 7/8/2016.
Kailash .M, Sajan.R.S of II std have emerged as winners in State Level SpellBee Competition and they received Medal & Certificate.
Ramalingar pani Mandram will be conducted Art & Literature Competitions on 7/8/16 at P.S. Hr. Sec. School, Mylapore. Indhuja.V & Sudhanidhi of XI std will be participated in music competition, Sharmila.B & Jenifer Princy of XI std will be participated in Oratorical competition,Lavanya.S & Dhivya Sri . R will be participated in Poem recitation Competition.
Kamarajar Academy conducted drawing,Rangoli,Essay writing,Poem writing & Hand writing competitions on account of Independence Day celebration on 6/8/2016 in our school. Result: 15 Students Received prizes & Keerthiga of X std received a silver coin.
Kumara Rani's Chettinad Vidyalaya will be conducted Sishu Utsav – 2016 for KG students on 6/8/2016 at Chettinad Vidyashram's Auditorium,Chennai.Our School Students will be participated in Drawing,colouring,group dance ,story telling and fancy dress competitions.
KG CCA Competition – BINDI PASTING was conducted on 05.08.16.
English – ASL workshop was conducted by Orient Swan on 5/8/2016 to all English handling teachers from I std to XII std in our School.
12 Students from XI std participated in under -19 girls kabaddi match which was conducted by Government girls Hr.Sec.School,Poonamalli on 4/8/2016 [Thursday] & they won the II place.
Latika of VII – D participated in Karate tournament on 17/7/16 which was conducted by Shotokan Karate Federation. She won II – prize in Katta, II prize in Kumite & ii prize in team katta.
TNCA under-14 ,School Cricket tournament I – round held at St.Beats Ground ,Mylopore 2/8/2016. Our students played against Gill Adarsh School and scored 235/6 in 30 overs. Ashish Jayaram of VII std scored 114 runs, Yash Choudray of V-A std took 4 wickets & won the match by 167 runs. II – round also held at St.Beats Ground, Mylapore on 3/8/2016.Our students played against Chinmaya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School and scored 114 runs ,all out in 25 overs. P.S.Pradeep of IX – B scored 55 runs, M.Arul Kumaran of IX – D took 3 wickets & won the Match by 1 run.
